Yes it Does
Part LXIX

Crazy Cat Lady

Every day, Margarine the cat lady would stare at all the cats in Pet Land, the local animal rescue store. She never had the nerve to buy a kitty of her own because she wanted them all and either couldn’t choose which one she wanted or couldn’t afford them all. I’m not sure.

“Come along, furries,” she said one day, finally taking the plunge to purchase all 38 cats that were in the store. “Come with me Tommy and Muffy and Mitty and Stinky and Grover and Tim and Yes and Matt. You can all live with me and eat my food and various edibles.”

Tim, Yes and Matt are not cats. They were employees at the Pet Land store. Normally they would not be considered for purchase by the store patrons, but they were by Margarine that day. And she bought them fair and square.

Yes could not be more delighted! He could share tiny cans of ground up rat testicles with all of his friends, while Tim and Matt slept curled up in a ball with their feline brethren.

“Yeah, that’s good enough,” Tim said, asking that this story end here.
